This two-year-old, all-girl, Middle School is located several blocks east of downtown Kansas City in Van Brunt Park. For this project SprayKC partnered with the school’s CEO, Tom Krebs, and Startland Education on a week-long after-school course with the students. The students transformed into young entrepreneurs and pitched to us what they wanted to see on their school’s walls. Five artists, working from ideas and inspiration from the students, created five murals that deliver strong and powerful messages. #girlpower
