One year after the completion of Phase 1, the west wall and part of the south wall, Phase 2 would begin with the goal of completely covering the south wall with murals. This would take the work and efforts of 12 artists and designers, five lifts from 60’ to 80’ tall, over three weeks of painting, all wrapping up during the annual Plaza Art Fair. As most of the muralists were in the final days of their murals, tens of thousands of people would walk by their murals as part of one of the nation’s largest art fairs.

This project brought exciting live art to the fair. Our favorite moments were children looking at the walls and the artists on lifts, asking us questions, and saying that they want to be artists someday! It was an amazing project.
